Local Psychotherapy
compassionate, down-to-earth, evidence-based therapy.
Your thoughts, your story, your values, and your experiences, including how you relate to your culture, whether you embrace it, question it, or feel distant from it - all matter. Therapists here strive to build a therapeutic connection rooted in our shared humanity, a space where you can show up as your full, unfiltered self, because that is often where the most meaningful change begins.
Approach to Mental Health
At Local Psychotherapy, we are dedicated to cultivating a nurturing environment that celebrates the uniqueness of individual experiences. Acknowledging the profound interplay between mental and physical well-being, our mission is to accompany you on a transformative journey towards self-connection and growth.
We believe that mental health care is a basic human right - one that should be accessible and reflective of the diversity present in our society. We aim to contribute to the de-stigmatization of mental health through education, and provide learning and career opportunities for students and practitioners who are passionate about inclusive mental health care.
Finances should never be a barrier to therapy. I offer reduced and sliding scale rates for BIPOC young adults and for those experiencing temporary loss of income.
