The Safe Harbour Program
An affordable therapy program for adults starting at 90$ per session
In an effort to support equity and improve access to mental health care, I offer a limited sliding scale program each quarter through this program. This program is designed to support those who may otherwise face financial barriers to accessing ongoing, quality mental health support.
The program is offered four times a year, providing predictable opportunities for clients to access affordable therapy:
Winter: January – March
Spring: April – June
Summer: July – September
Fall: October – December
Application window for each quarter closes on the following days:
Winter: up to January 14
Spring: up to April 14
Summer: up to July 14
Fall: up to October 14

The Details:
A limited number of clients will be accepted into the program at a reduced session rate
Monica's reduced rates: starting at $90 / 50 minute session
In the intake call, we will discuss the sliding scale rate that you will be charged per session - please come to this session with an idea of what is realistic for you based on the above sliding scale structure.
Approved clients will be eligible to book up to 1 session per week at the reduced rate for the quarter (3 month interval) in which they are accepted into the program, pending scheduling & clinician availability. Approved clients may access the sliding scale for one quarter in the year. They're welcome to reapply in the future.
Any client who has been accepted into the program and who wishes to continue services with the clinician at the conclusion of the safe harbour program will be charged at the clinician’s usual session rate for any session that occurs after the last day of the quarter.
Please note that the program is intended for clients in financial need to be able to access therapy services. If your financial needs change during the program, and you are able to afford to pay the full session rate, I ask that you inform the clinic so that we can offer another client the chance to benefit from the program.
